Summary:
The aim of this and all PHE classes at ISB in the MYP is to improve cognitive functioning through movement. In Year 4, students will upgrade the knowledge about functional movement patterns that they acquired in the previous year and use it in a variety of different physical activities such as games, functional training and fitness routines and sport specific skills including performance and umpiring. Concept based learning has a central place in this course.

Required materials:
- PE kit (sports shoes, clean trainers, PE shirt (not the regular shirt worn during the school day), socks; if outside a hat is required.
- Special activities (i.e. swimming) will have specialized PE kit announced prior to the start of the unit of inquiry.
