ISB Parent Teacher Student Association: Building Community Together
The PTSA's main aim is to support and build the ISB community.  Through our varied events and activities we aim to connect the different sectors of the school: parents, students and staff to support and grow the school as a whole.

Get Involved!
All parents, faculty and administrative staff are automatically members of the PTSA, and are welcome to come along to meetings and get involved. The executive is chosen from parent volunteers and works closely with our faculty representatives, Students in Action and Student Council. If you are interested in the PTSA executive, in becoming a room parent, in volunteering for a specific event or just generally interested, send us an email - - or have a chat with any member of the executive!
What do we do?
The PTSA is keen to support new families and help them to settle in, as well as being a resource for established families. Through activities such as the room parents program, coffee mornings and seminars we hope to promote communication between parents and the school, and help build a supportive network. Any questions or suggestions can be emailed through to
The PTSA organizes a number of events throughout the year. As well as being great fun, these events provide an avenue for the students to display their talents and for parents to become more informed about the school.  Our major events for this year are planned to be:
  • PTSA Monthly meetings take place every first Wednesday of the month. Meetings generally take place from 1:00 to 2:30 pm, but some may be rescheduled to an earlier time in the morning (Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 6, Dec. 11, Jan. 15, Feb. 5, March 5, April 2, May 7 and June 4).
  • Bingo Night (TBA)
  • International Spring Fair (May 25)
  • PTSA Garage Sale (TBA)
Any funds raised at these events are used to support school events, programs and facilities, or donated to charity.
In addition we run or assist with a number of other events during the year, from Bingo nights to sports day.  So there's plenty going on.

We need you!
The PTSA and its activities cannot happen without the active support of the parents, so please, come along and get involved.  No experience necessary, and we can always find a task to suit any willing person!
