Serbian Mother Tongue




Dragi roditelji,

U okviru ovog biltena saznaćete kako na časovima maternjieg jezika provodimo
poslednje dane ove školske godine. Nakon vrlo uzbudljive nastavne jedinice posvećene
narodnim umotvorima, počeli smo da se zanimamo za našu prošlost u sklopu konekcije
Milena Jovanovic
sa nastavnom jedinicom koju učenici rade u svojim učionicama, a pod temom Where we
Serbian Language
are in place and time. Trenutno na časovima učimo o despotu Stefanu Lazareviću i nje- Teacher
govom uticaju na Beogradsku tvrđavu, Kalemegdan. Takođe govorimo i o njegovoj
porodici – knezu Lazaru i knjeginji Milici. Posmatrali smo ilustracije života u njihovo
vreme kako bi naučili po čemu se život u to veme razlikuje od ovog danas. Pogledali smo
i 3D viruatlni prikaz grada Kruševca u vreme kada je Stefan tamo živeo sa svojom
porodicom. Iz gramatike smo obnovili imenice i glagole i naučili da kod imenica možemo
da razlikujemo tri roda – muški, ženski i srednji. Želim Vam lep i ispunjen odmor!























Music








Responding to music with movement, second graders created a number of complex
choreographies using body socks and other props. Working in groups, they tried to
respond to different tempo changes with appropriate movements. In addition, play-
ing mouth pianos, they worked on E, F,F sharp, C, and C sharp notes. We found inspi-
ration in songs Pocket Full of Sunshine, Hall of Fame, and Music Alone Shall Live.
However, a definite highlight of the month for our second grade students was a bal- Ljudmila Janicijevic
let performance of Aladdin that took place on our campus. Complementing our Music Teacher
theme of How Do We Express Ourselves, this performance was a perfect fit for us
and a great way to enrich students’ learning experience.
