Physical Education

Throughout February, Pre-Kindergarten students continued practicing their skills in the
‘Ball Handling’ unit. Apart from beanbags and balls of different weights and sizes,
scoops and Frisbees were also utilized in our practices. Students were engaged in differ-
ent individual and pair activities.

Aside from improving our throwing and catching skills, we had lots of fun working on PE Teacher
hand dribbling, rolling, shooting into the target, as well as on foot dribbling and kicking.

Students put a lot of effort into maintaining control of the ball while dribbling it around
the gym, by hand and foot, and while practicing shooting into hoops of different
heights.

With the use of soft soccer balls and hockey sticks, we took penalty shots with the goal-
keeper getting in our way.

Our Pre-Kindergarten group is proud to announce that there might be some future soc-
cer, hockey, or basketball players hiding among us!
