During the previous weeks, students were working on the single subject unit of inquiry
‘Where We Are In Place And Time,’ while discovering the styles of Kazimir Malevich and
David Hockney.
Students were choosing an artist to respond to and materials to work with. Children were Svetlana Spasic-
drawing, painting, and creating collages while learning about the use of line, shape, space, Glid
color, and texture if they chose to work in collage technique. Art
