Dragi roditelji

U okviru ovog biltena saznaćete kako na časovima maternjeg jezika provodimo
poslednje dane ove školske godine. Učenici su vredno radili na testovima iz čitanja,
pisanja i slušanja na kojima su pokazali koliko su napredovali i šta su sve naučili
tokom ove školske godine. Nastavnu jednicu posvećenu narodnoj književnosti smo Milena Jovanovic
priveli kraju čitajući bajku Baš-čelik i pišući bajke koje su nalik onima koje smo čitali. Serbian Language

Takođe smo se potrudili da u svoje radove uključimo neke od arhaičnih reči koje smo
sretali u bajkama koje smo čitali. Pogledali smo i film „Čudotvorni mač“ iz šezdesetih
godine koji je snimljen po motivima iz bajke „Baš čelik“. Takođe, poslednje časove
koristimo kako bismo obnovili sve ono što smo naučili ove školske godine. Želim Vam
lep i ispunjen odmor!

Intermediate Group

We started supporting the PYP trans-disciplinary theme: Where We Are in Place
and Time – Migration unit, and its central idea: Migration can transform commu-
nities and create challenges. We focused on the unit vocabulary, and talked
about related topics:

 The factors that lead to migration,
 The challenges that face immigrants, Divna Stakic
 The changes that occur as a result of migration. EAL Teacher

We continued developing reading fluency, vocabulary and comprehension, as
well as grammar. We read different non-fiction stories that followed our lines of
inquiry about reasons for voluntary and involuntary migration. In the light of cur-
rent events in Serbia, the students made connection to the Natural Disasters unit,
and what we could do to help people who were forced to leave their homes due
to floods.

The students particularly enjoyed applying what they’ve researched and learnt
about migrations, and use their knowledge to build opposing arguments that led
to a very successful class debate.
