Art
During the previous weeks, students continued with their work on the single subject unit of
inquiry ‘Where We Are In Place And Time,’ while ‘traveling’ through time to discover differ-
ent forms of Art.

Students were learning about Vincent van Gogh while drawing and painting using short bro- Spasic Glid
ken lines. Students were working on their individual and group projects. We continued with Art Teacher
learning about the use of line and color while inquiring into the style of Wassily Kandinsky
through drawing and collage technique.
Children truly enjoyed being ‘time travelers’ and learning about Art styles from different
places and times.
As a form of reflection, students were mixing colors that they used on their reflection sheet
in order to see how many colors they learned to make.
