Kindergarten started this year by exploring movement and sound pat-
terns in nature and trying to imitate them. Children practiced clapping
patterns, coordination and concepts of fast and slow through singing
songs about body parts. Currently, we are practicing movement control
(start/stop) and trying to remember choreographies we learned during the
previous school year. As a connection to the PYP unit Messages Without
Words, we are focusing on ideas and feelings communicated through
body movements.
