Dear Parents,

Here is the third newsletter for the French class in order to keep you informed about the things we
have been learning during the last period.

Since you’ve last heard from us, we continued working on our Unit about different materials, learn-
ing vocabulary in order to be able to name and describe objects in our immediate environment. We
also explored the story about “The Three Little Pigs” through watching the cartoon and reading the
book.

Right before the holidays, we will get the opportunity to make pancakes, which will allow us to in-
troduce some of the food vocabulary and, at the same time, practice understanding oral instructions
in French. Making some of the New Year’s decorations will also be a good occasion to develop our
comprehension skills, since we will also need to follow precise instructions.
