Dear Parents,
In the previous weeks, students finished with the unit of inquiry ‘How We Organize
Ourselves – School’.
Students were inquiring into use of movement through drawing, painting, and mosaic
technique. Students were creating their individual pieces of art while learning about
movement through various techniques. During those activities, students were learning
to organize tables with the materials they needed and to clean up after work. We fin-
ished the unit with students working on big group projects, through which they applied
their subject specific knowledge and knowledge of organizing themselves to work in
teams. The teams chose the technique to work on for their group piece of art.
We hope that you will enjoy seeing the students’ work at the Upper School.
