Dear Parents,

Here is the fourth newsletter for the French class in order to keep you informed about the things
we have been learning during the last period.

Since you’ve last heard from us, we have been working on orientation in space through learning
about amenities and services people need in their neighborhood. We have learned names for various
types of buildings and other spaces we encounter in a city, and will now practice orientation with a
map we created together in class. After this unit, we will focus on orientation in time.

Through all of the activities, students are encouraged to combine all of the elements we have been
working on since the beginning of the year.
