Dear Parents,

Here is the fourth newsletter for the French class in order to keep you informed about the things we
have been learning during the last period.

After the holidays, we enjoyed the opportunity to bake and to review some of the communication
skills in writing and reading. Once we finished reviewing, we started working on how we express our-
selves through stories and poetry. The children have been exploring the power of imagination as read-
ers, but also as writers. They have read poems and will also read stories in order to enrich their vocab-
ulary, but also to get familiar with the structure of a poem or a story (characters and plot). Through
this Unit, we will continue practicing how to describe a character while adding series of concrete ac-
tions in order to create a story. The students will create their own stories and present them to the
class.
