Dear Parents,
In previous weeks students started working on the unit of inquiry ‘How We Organize
Ourselves – Exhibition’ as a connection to their learning in the homeroom.
Students were inquiring into the use of different materials and elements and princi-
ples of art in order to express their interest in various issues such as: pollution, equal
rights, stray animals, endangered animals, health, and refuges. They were working in
teams in order to share ideas and plan each member’s contribution to the final
presentation.
Students can choose materials for their work. As a part of the process, students are
trying out different forms of expression and reflect on their findings in order to learn
how to improve their work so they express the interest in the issues.
