Art

In the previous weeks, students started working on the single subject Unit of Inquiry ‘Where
We Are in Place and Time.’

We started the unit by learning about Cave Art, while learning about the use of shape and
contrasting colors. In order to find out how to make shapes more visible, we used the color
wheel for finding colors that are different from each other. Children were expressing what is
important in their lives in this Style of art. Svetlana Spasic-
Glid
Students reflected on their learning in the second trimester through choosing their favorite Art
piece of art and explaining their choice.
