In the previous weeks, students continued working on the single subject of inquiry ‘Where
We Are In Place And Time.’ Children were learning about the style of Paul Cezanne while
creating observational drawings and paintings. Students were inquiring into the messages
that Paul Cezanne and cave artists were passing to the world through their work. Students
were learning about the use of shape, space (positive and negative space), and color.
For the final task, children chose to express themselves like cave artists or like Cezanne. Svetlana Spasic-
