Art

In the previous weeks, students were working on the single subject unit of inquiry
‘Where We Are In Place And Time,’ as a connection to their learning in the homeroom.
Children were learning about three architects: Antonio Gaudi, Hundertwasser, and Santi-
ago Calatrava. Children chose an architect who appealed to them to learn more about
the style and chose materials to work with. Also, students were working in groups. Svetlana Spasic-
Therefore, children had a class on how to give positive feedback to each other in order Glid
to learn how to help their team members more effectively. So far, children inquired into Art
the styles, sorted their findings, presented to other groups and continued with their
pieces of art while creating their 2D or 3D pieces.

We hope you enjoyed the Spring Fair and had time to stop by to see all the ‘students’
sculptures on display. Here are a few images from Saturday, April 12.

Grade 3A students have classes on Tuesdays.

Grade 3B students have classes on Fridays.
