Grade 1 students learned names of various fruits/
vegetables and used them to practice expressing
likes and dislikes. We practiced describing weather,
counting, and answering questions about self on a
daily basis. Then, we learned clothing items. As Hal-
loween is an exciting event in the lives of our little
ones, we’ve dressed the scarecrow, and used it to
practice oral fluency and understanding through de-
scriptions.
