During March, Grade 1 students learned about the
seasons and changes in nature that happen in
spring. We focused on park and playground activi-
ties, and we worked on simple descriptive sentenc-
es, comparing adjectives (big and small), the use of
personal pronouns and conjugation.
We continue to review and practice colors, numbers,
fruits, vegetables, the weather, and clothing on a
daily basis. Our vocabulary is expanding and we are
focusing more on letters, letter-sound connections
and writing.
