Kindergarten students finished working on the unit of inquiry
‘Sharing the Planet – Resources’ with a reflection that included
their understanding of the key concepts Causation and Respon-
sibility.
Students were exposed to different stimuli such as using re-
sources from the nature, creating mosaics and collages while
having discussions about good choices regarding the use of re-
sources for expressing themselves. Children became aware of
the importance of using paper wisely through a book ‘My Tree
Named Steve’ and various class activities. As a result of their
learning about importance of using paper wisely and recycling,
we made handmade paper out of the small pieces of paper that
we were not able to use.
