Movement & Dance

 Dear Parents,
 Kindergarten started this year by exploring movement and sound patterns in nature and trying to imi-
 tate them. Children practiced clapping patterns, coordination and concepts of fast and slow through
 singing songs about body parts. Currently, we are practicing movement control (start/stop) and try-
 ing to remember choreographies we learned during the previous school year. As a connection to the
 PYP unit Messages Without Words, we are focusing on ideas and feelings communicated through body
 movements.
