Movement & Dance

PK-3 and PK-4 students observed changes in nature as a part of the PYP unit Natu-
ral Cycles. In Movement and Dance classes we addressed this unit through action.
We let our bodies become blooming buds, and autumn leaves or snowflakes dancing
in the wind. Children showed outdoor activities typical for each season and shared
games they usually play with their peers. At the end of each class we set aside a few
minutes to play Night and Day. This game brings a lot excitement and laughter to our
class.
